Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) supports and promotes engagement with the great and diverse community at Concord West Public School. We also have a lot of fun fundraising for equipment and infrastructure to make the school environment a better, more welcoming place for our students and their families.

The P&C also assists the school community by maintaining and running the Uniform Shop, ensuring low cost uniforms are available for parents and families. Parents volunteer their time to keep the Uniform Shop operating.

Everyone is always welcome to come along to P&C meetings each month, or just volunteer your time when needed. Our P&C Meetings are held on the Tuesday of Week 5 every term at 7:30pm as online Zoom meetings, unless otherwise advised. These meetings are a very important part of the running of the school because they allow for an exchange of ideas between staff, parents, and community members. Sometimes teachers may give input concerning current trends in education. Many fundraising activities are discussed and organised at these meetings. Please feel free to join us, you don't need to be a member of the P&C to attend meetings.

The P&C Executive Members for 2025 are:

President  – Ha Le Trinh

Vice-President  – Angel Patel

Secretary  – Jodie Wherry

Treasurer  – Rohit Chitre

Uniform Shop Co-ordinators  –  Michael Wherry and Samuel Fouladi
