School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events may include:

- Harmony Week and Book Week events

Kindergarten Orientation
Date: 12 November and 19 November 2025
Time: 9.15-11.00am
Kindergarten Orientation is an opportunity for new students commencing Kindergarten in 2026 and their parents and carers to get to know our school. Parents and children attend both mornings.
Topics covered include:
- Kindergarten curriculum
- School routines
- School readiness and expectations
- What goes in a schoolbag
- Food at school
- Uniforms and School Shoes
- Out of School Hours Care
All families attending Orientation also receive a comprehensive Kindy Pack, with information on starting school, school routines, bell times, uniform requirements, and much more.
Soiree Concert
Date: 13 November 2025
Time: 5.30pm Food and busking, 6.30pm Concert
Our Soiree 2025 Concert is an exciting night where Concord West Public School students get to share their musical talents with parents, carers and families.
Groups performing include: Beginner Strings, Intermediate Strings, Gimbawali Choir, Junior Choir, Chamber Choir, Guitar Group, Recorder Consort, soloists and special performance groups.
One very special performer we are welcoming this year is Bukhu Ganburged. He is a famous Mongolian throat singer and Horse Fiddle player.
