SCHOOL TOURS FOR KINDY 2025 - BOOK YOUR TOUR BELOW!

We are conducting school tours for families interested in enrolling for Kindergarten 2025 at Concord West Public School:

Tour 1: Friday 5th April 2024 - 10am
Tour 2: Thursday 16th May 2024 - 10am
Tour 3: Wednesday 19th June 2024 - 10am
Tour 4: Friday 9th August 2024 - 10am
Tour 5: Tuesday 16th September 2024 - 10am
Tour 6: Monday 28th October 2024 - 10am

Your child is welcome to come with you on the tour.
Tours take approximately 20 minutes and bookings are essential please.

How to enrol 

5 Steps to enrol for Kindergarten:

1. Submit an online application using the online enrolment portal (both local and out of area enrolments)

The school will contact you to arrange an enrolment appointment

Please wait for us to contact you about the appointment - we contact applicants in the order received. Interviews will be held from May-October 2024.

2. Attend the Enrolment Interview with your child 

This is a friendly "getting to know you" session, where your family can meet the Principal and you can ask any questions you have. One or both parents may attend. This is also an opportunity for you to tell us about your child and to discuss any additional needs. The Principal will be checking your enrolment documents at this session so please ensure you bring them to the school office with you on your interview day, so the admin team can sight and copy them to attach to your application.

Documents required to enrol your child:

• Completed online application form

• Proof of address document (original to be sighted)

• Your child's Birth Certificate (original to be sighted)

• Immunisation Certificate

• Preschool reports (if available)

• Any medical reports or assessments relating to your child's additional needs (if relevant)

In addition, visa holders will be asked to provide:

• Passports (original to be sighted)

• Visa documentation

• Online Authority to Enrol application

3. Attend Kindergarten Orientation sessions

Kindergarten Orientation will take place in November 2024 over two mornings - details provided at enrolment. Parents and children attend both sessions.

4. Attend your Best Start Assessment appointment

Best Start will be taking place over 2 days in February 2025 (dates to be advised). You will be advised of your appointment date and time at Kindergarten Orientation.

5. Commence Kindergarten!

Kindergarten will commence in early February 2025. Information will be provided at Kindergarten Orientation on what to expect for the first day of school.
